She highlights how difficult it can be for patients to find the right dermatologist and the importance of patients advocating for their condition. Furthermore, Diane talks about how having skin of color has impacted her diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis.

Iyanu Bishop, a college student with a family history of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, shares her treatment journey and emotional struggles. She tolerated pain and the appearance of her skin for years because she thought it was a familial condition, so had not been adequately treated until she met Dr. Kindred.

Dr. Chesahna Kindred emphasizes the importance of accessing appropriate medical care at the right time to help achieve clear skin.
